This MM300 bezel is polished and coated in DLC Black. What is DLC? Diamond like carbon (DLC) is a class of amorphous carbon material that displays some of the typical properties of diamond. As the name suggests, diamond like carbon means that the layer is as scratch resistant as diamonds. DLC coating has 5 times the hardness of a 316L stainless steel.
